With over 40 years in the industry we have the experience that separates us from the competition. We have worked through extreme storms and emergency work to routine maintenance. We have several different certifications including ISA arborist and tree risk assessment. 

We strive for the highest quality of work for our services by focusing on the attention to details. From pruning the trees the proper way to leaving properties cleaner than when we got there. 

We are a family owned and operated business. Chase Haman is now running the business and is second generation. Chase has his Ag Leadership degree from Texas A&M as well as over 10  years of experience. He will also be obtaining his Master Arborist Certification which is the highest certification in tree work you can obtain and only a few people have within the greater Sacramento area.

Haman Family Roots

Haman Landscape and Tree Service is a family owned and operated business which was founded in 1982 by owner, John Haman. John was raised in Sacramento and prior to starting his own family and company he worked as a landscaper for federal housing developments and subsequently became the foreman of multiple landscape crews in the area. He later branched out and focused on agricultural orchards, where he was able to learn and study trees, soils, irrigation and the skills of pruning.

Arborism & Tree Surgery

Gaining knowledge and experience in the agricultural field, John later graduated to tree service, where he learned how to climb, trim and remove large and dangerous heritage trees. Through his many years of hands-on industry experience John developed an innate passion for trees and ultimately sought to pursue his own business in the industry.

Haman Branches

In recent years, John’s son, Chase, has joined the Haman Landscape and Tree Service team.  Throughout the years, both John and Chase have attended arborist seminars to remain up-to-date with information and techniques in maintaining and servicing trees and various properties. They are continuously obtaining expertise in the industry every day on job sites, oftentimes working alongside one another.

Acquiring a degree in Agricultural Leadership has given him the qualifications to manage and contribute to the company.
